Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born on Winona Minnesota. The parents named her Winona for the town she grew up in. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father and mother also happen to be Jewish. Ryder believes herself to be Jewish. Uria is Ryder's younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are the half siblings of Ryder. Ryder's family relocated from Mendocino County, California, when she was just seven. They didn't even have electricity. Ryder was an avid reader and spent her time reading books because she had no television. In 1983 when she was 12 Ryder enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. Lucas the film, which was released in 1986 that she was in, was her debut major part. Ryder was only 15 at the time she was cast. Ryder was bullied at her high school. Her professional acting, she believed that it would aid her. It didn't turn out. However, it didn't stop her from pursuing dreams. In 1988, she received her breakthrough role in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder kept playing successful roles in various films. In 1993, he was nominated two times for Academy Awards.
