Suzanne Pleshette worked as an actor and voice artist throughout the U.S. Through her long career of five decades, Pleshette accumulated more than 100 credits on her resume. Pleshette is a native of New York and began her stage career as an actor. In later years, she made the gradual shift to the screen. Her most notable films include 'Rome Adventure,' 'The Birds', 'Fate the Hunter', 'If It's Tuesday This Must Be Belgium as well as Support Your Local Gunfighter. The actress has also been featured in several films and TV shows. She was awarded four Emmy Awards, and received two Golden Globe Awards. Two times she was nominated, Pleshette won the Laurel Award in 1963 for 'The Birds'. The death of Pleshette in 2008 was the cause of the posthumous recognition of a Star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
